Detox Tomato Soup

I recommend eating this tomato soup at least once a week. Tomatoes are rich in vitamins like E, A, C & K. It also contains copper and potassium which will help your digestive system. These vitamins and minerals will also help your skin get rid of toxins, give it a boosting antioxidant effect and help prevent fine lines and wrinkles. 

Health is a lifestyle that includes conciseness about what you consume on a daily basis. Making decisions that also effects your food, will help you get a healthier body, mind & skin.

 

Recipe:

What you need:
  • 1.5 kilo tomato
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 wedges of garlic
  • 1 small chilli (optional)
  • 6 tablespoons of virgin olive oil
  • 2 vegetable bouillon cubes
  • 2-3 sprigs thyme & parsley for sprinkles. 

 

What to do:
  1. Cut and lightly brown the onion and garlic in the virgin olive oil.
  2. Pour the cut tomatoes,thyme  sprigs and the boullion cubes with 1 liter of water into the onions and garlic. 
  3. Boil on medium heat for 25 minutes.
  4. Remove the thyme sprigs, and after that blend with stick blender.
  5. At last sprinkle parsley on top as garnish to enjoy.
  6. For the real hedonist a tablespoon of delicious creme fraiche on top of the soup is just the thing.
